2018 Spaghetti Dinner a Success!
[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”17″ gal_title=”2018 Spaghetti Dinner”]
Thank you for all your help and support for the Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser – according to the final count, this event netted $1848.65. We had a lot of fun in the effort.
The move of this event to Saturday night was a key in the success for this year. It is estimated that we spent about 160 man-hours of efforts. In addition to the income, we provided a large amount of food to three different organizations and a significant amount of bread to the religious education students who were studying the Eucharist. We were fortunate enough to share our table with St Edward’s Spanish community after the 6:30 Mass let out. We had a great time as they brought in some enchiladas and a birthday cake for a youngster.
A special thanks, goes out to Debby Galluppi who was very instrumental in getting a large amount of donations from local businesses – that effort directly increased the profit for this event. Another special thanks goes to the Youth ministry support lead by John Leirey. There efforts were extremely beneficial.
2017 Soccer Challenge Results
The Saint Edwards and Corpus Christi Councils of the Knights of Columbus, would like to thank the Town of Clifton Park and the Clifton Park Soccer Club for their support of our annual Soccer Challenge. On Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24, the Knights held a penalty kick competition to determine our region’s representatives to the regional competition.
Forty-seven boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 14 kicked over 1300 penalty kicks over the two days. In the end, we were able to select 5 boys and 5 girls to represent us at the conference and state levels at West Point on November 5. Here’s a hearty shout out to all the participants an congratulations to those who will be advancing. See you at West Point!

2016 St. Nick’s Breakfast a Success!
Brothers:
Thank you for the great turnout to help the youth ministry with the St Niok Breakfast this year – We had a great St Nick ( thanks I believe to Fr Pat) and the event was very well received by all. The goal we set up originally was to make $400 based on an expected 180 sales for the Youth Ministry but with the kids pre-sales and a large walk in we were able to handle over 300 which provided the Ministry with $780 or almost double our expectations. I believe we were able to work very well with the youth ministry on this event and everyone had a great experience. I thank John Leirey for the high turnout form the Youth Ministry and all the Knight s for ther direct support and help with the kids
Once again thank you and have a very Blessed and Merry Christmas
