The Knights would like to thank all of those that attended and shared dinner with us. The Knights of Columbus of Saint Edwards Church in Clifton Park will be starting their 2017 fundraising with their annual Spaghetti dinner on January 29th at St Edwards’s church. The funds raised in this event represent over 20% of their annual budget for the Knights. The Saint Edward’s Knights help and support over 29 different charities and community events. Some of these Charities supported include the American cancer, Birth Right, Captain, Care Links, Care Links, Dream Factory, Little Sisters of the Poor, Make A wish Foundation, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the Regional Food Bank. Additionally the Knights also sponsor an annual Scholarship program and youth activities like the soccer shoot out and the basketball shootout in the fall.
The spaghetti dinner includes its famous full meal consisting of a generous plate of spaghetti with meatballs, bread, salad, soft drinks, and a desert. Take away meals are available, however there is ample seating available for dinning-in with friends and family. The price of the diner is $8 for adults and $7 for children ages 6 to 12, children under age 6 are free. All are welcome with meals starting at 12 noon and will be served up to 4:30 PM.
